About Matthew
Matthew is a Landscape photographer from Brisbane, Queensland, Australia.
"The images I capture involve a conscious creative mix of balance and movement that is natural to capture the shape, form and atmosphere of a landscape subject. The search for the position to place my camera is almost automatic and my eyes lead my thoughts through lines, textures and movement in seconds to find that one photograph that defines where I’ve travelled. When I can present a finished image to a viewer and they can feel the ocean swirling, feel the crisp cold air on their face and attempt to reach out to touch the scene – then I’ve preserved a perfect, beautiful moment in time."
That's the artist statement out of the way. To put it simply, I love Travel Landscape Photography. I love being able to visit new places and then putting the elements together to form a unique image particularly using the light of sunrise and sunset.
So that's me. I'm always happy to share an pointers on Landscape Photography or anything photography related, so please send me an email sometime.
